Image: Antechamber (2010)
The series Antechamber attempts to make visible the vulnerability of the photograph with regards to meaning. It attempts to frustrate sincere visual perception with the placement of people and objects into an aesthetic photographic space. By being photographed in this way, simplistic subjects become symbolically charged as the viewer tries to decipher the image.
