It was by curiosity that I started to paint in 2004, trying to figure out whether I would be able to do so. I went on and on, trying to become a better painter. This is purely a technical approach to painting, but a reason as good as any other.
It’s all about finding the best way to create volumes of light and shadow by using oil paint on a canvas, telling short stories in a painting which would otherwise need many words to be told.
The development of my works involve photography ( by myself, Franck Evin, Pasquale Di Stasio) and computer layout. So far you could call it “ mixed media ”. The final result comes always as a traditional painting, oil on canvas.
